Cambridge, MA, with the MIT Museum, 9 – 10 a.m. Free. The Museum is offering dedicated morning for visitors who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience. You’ll be invited to enter the Museum an hour before opening to enjoy the 3rd floor galleries with a limited number of visitors.
* The museum will reduce ambient noise during this time, creating a calm space.
* They have developed sensory maps and a social narrative to help guide you.
* Museum staff will be there to answer questions and to lead special drop-in activities.
* Visitors are welcome to continue exploring the museum when it opens to the general public at 10:00am.
