* More adults with autism are becoming covered by Medicare, almost always in addition to existing Medicaid and/or private insurance.
* This presentation discusses findings from a recent white paper examining the challenges to accessing autism treatment under Medicare.
* They will also review the additional barriers it can create to have Medicare while maintaining access to treatments covered by secondary insurance, with an overview of possible reforms for remedying some of these challenges.
* Spanish translation available.
