Webinar, October 20th, 2025, with the Special Needs Advocacy Network in Massachusetts. In Massachusetts, students can pre-register to vote starting at age 16 making registration a vital milestone in the move from school to adult life. This workshop will explore the rights of students and individuals with disabilities in the voting process, including accessible voting machines, the right to assistance, early voting, mail-in ballots, and creating a voting plan.
* This workshop will highlight the importance of representation for youth with disabilities ages 18–25, share key Massachusetts election dates and actions, and provide strategies for ensuring every vote is counted.
* Participants will leave with practical knowledge and tools to advocate for voter rights education and registration as essential elements of transition planning.
