Boston, MA, October 18th, with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. For teens with Autism Spectrum and Aspergers Disorders ages 13 to 18.
* Focus on specific art topics and incorporate discussion, critical inquiry, and sketching in the galleries. Students then work independently on a project with guidance from an experienced instructor.
* October Theme: Fall into Nature. The seasons are changing, and it’s the perfect time to get in touch with the earth. Connect with natural materials like wood, clay, and stone in art throughout the MFA’s collection. Focus on artworks from Africa and Oceania. Then create sculptures inspired by nature.
