Boston, MA, April 20th, 2024, with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. For teens with Autism Spectrum and Aspergers Disorders ages 13 to 18.
* Focus on specific art topics and incorporate discussion, critical inquiry, and sketching in the galleries. Students then work independently on a project with guidance from an experienced instructor.
* Class Description: Musical Masterpieces. Explore the captivating connection between music and visual art at the Museum of Fine Arts. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of musical masterpieces in the galleries as we discover how melodies, rhythms, and emotions inspire visual expressions.
* After the museum experience, unleash our creativity in the classroom as particpants create mesmerizing musical masterpieces. Drawing inspiration from the melodies, rhythms, and emotions explored, use various artistic techniques and materials to bring personal interpretations of music to life.
