Shrewsbury, MA, through March 5th, 2024, with the Shrewsbury Recreation Department. This is a Unified Sports Basketball rather than a Traditional Special Olympics Basketball. Athletes may compete at 8 years of age. Must be a Shrewsbury resident or current member of the program.
* Only athletes / partners and 1:1 support individuals will be permitted on the track.
* At the start of each track practice, each individual will check in, have their temperature taken and will be asked a number of questions pertaining to Covid.
* Please stay with your athlete / partner (if they require transportation home) until we know their temperature is acceptable to stay at practice and all questions on the Risk Form have been answered. Thermometers, hand sanitizer and masks have been provided by SOMA.
* Communicable disease and COVID risk assessements are part of this program.
