Webinar, October 10th, 2024, with the Parent Professional Advocacy League of Massachusetts (PPal). Free PPAL workshops are meant for parents, caregivers, family members, individuals, family partners, and/or peer leaders with experience supporting children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs.
This training will cover:

Understanding Federal Laws that govern special education
How to identify your concerns and effectively communicate them with the school
Understanding the School Code of Conduct and its relevance to mental health
School based evaluations related to mental health
Support Plans
Accommodations & Modifications
Goals
Transition Planning
