Newton South Norfolk Citizens’ Advisory Board. Speaker Katherine Anderson is a veteran special educator and author who writes and speaks on the history of disability and disability treatment, with a focus on institutional care.
* Katherine is President of the Belchertown State School Friends Association, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing disability history.
* She was also recently appointed to the newly formed Special Commission on State Institutions. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate.
