Brunch for Grandparents of Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in MassachusettsWebinar, November 17th, 2021, 6:30-7:30 p.m., with the Minute Man Arc of Concord, MA. A presentation on understanding the aging and family caregiver supports that are available to you and your family utilizing the aging network.
* Those with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities who may need further assistance for independent living can access these supports as well.
*Learn how these services may work together with your social services agency (e.g. Minute Man Arc) and the Developmental Disability network.
* Speaker Rev. Leslie May-Chibani, LSW, is currently the assistant director at Minuteman Senior Services, a regional non-profit organization serving 16 communities north and west of Boston.
* Leslie previously worked at BayPath Elder Services as both the Community-Based Care Transitions Program Manager and as their Care Advisor, having worked one-on-one with over 300 family caregivers through all stages of their journey.
* She founded and chaired the first two years of the Partnership to Promote Healthy Caregiving, a caregiver coalition bringing together professionals and family caregivers in MetroWest to improve access and services for caregivers along the continuum of care.
