Newport, RI, May 7th, 2022, with the Public Safety Special Needs Coalition. The Rhode Island State Police is offering a special open house for individuals with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and other special needs along with their families.
* Attendees will get to meet and chat with State and Local Police, Fire, and Rescue.
* Families may enjoy a fun, safe and Sensory Friendly environment to help to reduce the anxiety often associated with First Responders in emergency situations.
