The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra’s annual Family Concert is a chance for music lovers of all ages to enjoy a variety of classical music for the whole family. Join thier orchestra musicians for several family-friendly favorites, including “Casey at the Bat” by composer Allen Feinstein.
* To appeal to a diverse audience of children (including those on the autism spectrum), this concert will contain sensory-friendly elements—including reduced lightin.
* Parents are welcome to bring anything (coloring books, tactile objects, etc.) that would help their children enjoy an hour of music.
* A “quiet room” will be available for those who need it, and attendees may dance in the aisles or use noise-reducing headphones if they choose.
* Braille programs will also be available.
