Dover, MA, June 8th, 2024. This sensory-friendly beginner bird walk offers a reduced number of guests and quieter sensory-friendly environment. Any family that would benefit from a limited capacity visit is welcome.
* Now that the fields and woods are blooming, birds are busy starting to raise their families.
* The open fields of the farm are a great place to observe birds as they build nests, hunt for insects, and lay their eggs.
* Bring your binoculars (there will also be some to borrow), and see what birds you can find.
* After the hike, examine some bird nests and feathers and participate in a bird-related fun activity.
* Resources available for your visit include a limited number of sensory kits.
* Minimum of 8 registrations required for program to take place.
