Farmington, CT, October 19th, 2024.  Free. Rare New England will host their annual “Improving Health Care Experiences in the Rare Disease Community with Information and Support”, and is for patients and families to obtain information about services and resources available to the rare disease community to help obtain an improved life.
2024 Conference Themme: Rare Together – Uniting for Progress.  Their goal is to provide informative, open, and safe conversations within the rare disease community including, but not limited to patients and their families, expert panels, patient advocates, and a few of RNE’s board members who are held closely together by a rare disease.
* This Annual Conference serves as a platform for fostering meaningful connections, sparking innovative discussions, and exploring strategies to address the unique challenges faced by those affected by rare diseases. Conference Attendees will:

  • Become empowered to collaborate with various stakeholders and advocate for their needs.
  • Have the opportunity to explore a wealth of resources, programs, and initiatives relevant to the care and lives of patients with rare diseases and their caregivers.
  • Learn how to thrive and be resilient by leveraging resources for a more fulfilled and supported lifestyle at home. Through presentations, panels and interactive sessions, attendees will discover practical strategies for overcoming challenges and embracing a resilient mindset.
  • Gain an understanding of how collaborations between clinicians, scientists, and advocacy organizations make a significant impact for the greater good of the rare disease community.
  • Connect with fellow attendees, speakers, and exhibitors throughout the conference and build lasting relationships within the rare disease community.
