Virtual Event, June 9th, 2021. This meeting is for those living in Western Mass, Central Mass, Metro Boston, or Northeastern Mass. The Massachusetts EOHHS Human Service Transportation Office is hosting a series of Virtual Orientation Sessions in conjunction with the brokers that provide MassHealth transportation (PT-1) as well as transportation for consumers of several other EOHHS agencies.
* The HST Office oversees non-emergency medical transportation for MassHealth members through the PT-1 program as well as transportation for five EOHHS agencies.
* The office has recently completed a procurement and will be transitioning the contract in July.
* Four orientation sessions are being held for members who will be using HST transportation services under the new contract.
* The brokers will be presenting information about new technology such as web-based options and smartphone apps for booking trips.
* There will be time for attendees to ask questions and make comments.
* All sessions will have Certified Deaf Interpreters, American Sign Language to English interpreters, and CART real-time captioning services.
