Winchester, MA, August 1st – November 16th, 2025, with Winchester Pop Warner. Registration is now open for the 2025 season. This adaptive cheerleading program welcomes athletes from all surrounding towns. For all non-neurotypical children ages 5–18. The program was started by former Cheer Director, Maria O’Connor, who has a non-neurotypical relative and many family friends who have kids with a multitude of different abilities.
* Three out of the last four seasons they have performed at each of the division competitions in addition to Regionals and Nationals (in Florida). For the years they attend Nationals, it is always optional for each athlete & family.
* Last year at Nationals there were multiple other Adaptive teams.
* The team practices 1 time per week for an hour from August – November; performs at 2-3 cheer competitions, and cheers at 4 football games (optional). The season caps off with a Showcase at one of the local schools (one final performance).
