New Haven, CT, July 29th, 2023, with Adaptive Sports New England. Join the New England Wheelchair Football Team, one of the newest members of the USA Wheelchair Football League.
* Eligibility Criteria – Clinic participants must have a permanent physical disability that reduces the function of the lower limbs to a degree where they cannot play running football.
* Players must be able to propel themselves in a manual wheelchair, but do not need to be an every day wheelchair user.
* Sport chairs will be provided for those without their own
* Introductory/Recruitment Clinic – Saturday, 1:30 – 4:00 – July 29 – Southern CT State University – New Haven, CT.
* Team Practices – Sundays, 2:00 – 4:30 PM – July 16, 23, 30 & Aug. 6 – Haas Athletic Center – Wheaton College – 9 Fillmore Dr, Norton, MA.
