In this presentation, Ali Rheaume provides empowering tools and insights to help navigate the holiday season in a more attainable way.
* She discusses how to plan efficiently, in order to try and avoid the burnout or “crash”.
* There is also empowering information about how to approach different people and places that are involved with the holiday season.

  • Determine priorities to embrace for the holiday season

  • Discuss expectations and needs with other people
  • Examine what settings are optimal for participation

About the speaker:  Alison Rheaume, MS is an educator and advocate who speaks about awareness of, and strategies for, challenges that
people may face in life, especially with disability. She is certified as a Community Access Monitor, iand holds certifications in Special Populations, Responsive Classroom, and WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan). Ali facilitates a social group called Rise Up and a support group called Life After Concussion, and serves on the Franklin Disability Commission and the Brain Injury Council of MA.
