Peabody, MA, August 23rd, 2023. Join MassNAELA, Northeast Arc, and other members of Massachusetts’s disability advocacy community for a screening of “Lives Worth Living,” a documentary film about the disability rights movement in the United States.
* Eric Neudel, the filmmaker, will attend the screening and be available for Q & A afterwards.
* There will also be an opportunity for audience members to meet and network prior to the screening.
* This event is open to the public.
About the Film – Lives Worth Living traces the development of consciousness of disability pioneers who realized that in order to change the world they needed to work together. Through demonstrations and inside legislative battles, the disability rights community secured equal civil rights for all people with disabilities.
