Webinars, November 2025 – February 2026, with Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC) of Greater Boston. PIC’s Intro to Disability & Ableism Training gives participants a greater understanding of the Disability Community and Ableism. Participants will examine how ableism impacts their lives, work, and our world during this interactive training.
* Through an intersectional lens, participants will explore identity, the medical vs. social models of disability, the systemic oppression of people with disabilities, and how to begin to address ableism in our everyday lives and work.
Workshop Details: This is a one-session, three-hour webinar that includes breaks. This is a virtual workshop hosted on Zoom. The training is interactive, utilizing large group conversations, breakout rooms, and activities.
