The Buddy Ball Division is for children ages 5-21 with various cognitive or physical disabilities that impact their ability to independently participate in other RB divisions with same-aged peers.
* This is a non-competitive division.
* The Buddy Ball Division meets once per week for 8 weeks (typically Saturday afternoons) and players are assigned a volunteer “buddy” to help them participate in a variety of baseball drills in order to learn the fundamentals of the game.
* Each session concludes with a short, simulated game in which players have a chance to hit and run the bases.
