Manchester-by-the Sea, September 14th – December 7th, 2024, with the Northeast Arc Family Resource Center. Ballet de Mar is collaborating with The Northeast Arc Autism Support Center and Family Resource Center to bring dance and music to students with autism and intellectual disabilities ages 3-6 years old
* Sensory friendly classes will offer children the opportunity to explore the joys of creative movement and music while building coordination, musicality, expression, strength, and social skills.
* Classes are kept small to allow for a more intimate learning experience and optional parent participation.
Creative Movement Class Ballet – This class Introduces the basic foundations and vocabulary of Ballet. Students will build upon their learn- ings of Butterfly Ballet which includes a more structured dance (warmup, center floor, across the floor and learning choreography). In every class we will focus on building all our basic social & development skills like following directions, taking turns, and teamwork while also building self-confidence and a love for dance!
