Webinar, November 18th, 2024, with The Charles River Center of Needham, MA. Guardianship, also referred to as conservatorship, is a legal process that gives a person the authority
to make choices and care for another person if that person is unable to do so for himself/herself.
* Oftentimes, families of adults with developmental disabilities will apply for guardianship, so they are
to continue making medical decisions and other legal choices for their loved one.
* Charles River In November, Family Support will be hosting a webinar with Karen B. Mariscal, from Mariscal Special Needs Law. She will review important questions, including how to determine if guardianship is right for your loved one; the application process; and potential alternatives.
