Medford, MA, April 16th, 2024, with the Medford Police Department. Community Inclusion Day allows those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental and learning disabilities an opportunity to meet, interact and chat with the City of Medford’s s first responders and emergency services in a safe and comfortable setting. All are welcome.
There will be
* A touch-a-truck, a station tour, merchandise and food
* The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism
* Tufts University Police Department with their comfort dog, Pepper.
* Families will be able to register for their SafeWatch program which is utilized by their dispatchers to notify first responders of any specific needs of individuals in the home when responding to an emergency.
