Webinar for Special-Needs Families in MassachusettsVirtual Event, June 10th, 2025, with the Parent Professional Advocacy League of Massachusetts. PPAL workshops are meant for parents, caregivers, family members, individuals, family partners, and/or peer leaders with experience supporting children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs.
* As parents and caregivers of kids with mental health (and other) challenges, we know that the services needed by many of our kids touch on one or more state agencies. Obtaining and coordinating those services can be exhausting and frustrating.
* Join PPal and the Commissioners of various MA child-serving agencies to discuss and elevate the important issue of access and coordination among state agencies.
Speakers

  • Commissioner Brooke Doyle, Dept of Mental Health
  • A Representative from DDS, Dept of Developmental Services
  • Commissioner Cecely Reardon, Dept of Youth Services
  • Commissioner Staverne Miller, Dept of Children and Families
  • Commissioner Robert Goldstein, Dept of Public Health
  • Invited, Representative from DESE

*Questions for the Commissioners can be submitted in the event registration until May 28, 2025. Questions may be asked during the Program through the chat.
