Dorchester, MA, September 18th – October 30th, 2022, with the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester, MA. Free. The Challenger Soccer program is designed for youth ages 5 – 10 and 11+ with developmental and physical disabilities to enjoy the full benefits of soccer participation in a safe athletic environment structured to their abilities.
All surrounding communities and welcome to participate.
* This season the program is implementing a “unified model” for the 5 yrs-10 yrs old group, meaning athletes of all abilities will participate in the program.
* This approach is similar to what is often referred to as “peer modeling”.
* It is their hope that the athletes in this age group will benefit from this unique experience; learning valuable lessons while playing and training together.
* The host program considers this model as one that offers enhanced opportunities for friendships, community connections and helps to create an inclusive and accepting community.
Both the membership and the registration must be completed in order to participate.
BGCD’s Membership Application is valid September 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023
