Boston, MA, November 1st & 2nd, 2024, at Boston Children’s Hospital. The Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Family Symposium and Exhibitor Expo brings together families, patients, and professionals for a day of learning and connection. Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and keynote talks, experts in cardiac neurodevelopment will explore the newest research on how to support the wellbeing of young people with complex heart defects.
The 2024 symposium focuses on two critical themes: building resilience and the power of intervention. Participants will be able to delve into topics such as:
- promoting the wellbeing of healthy siblings
- using shared decision making to build better family-provider relationships
- the role of exercise in the health of people with complex heart defects
- accessing the best interventions throughout development and into adulthood
