Boston and Newton, MA, September 2025 – June 2026, with the Boston Ballet, intake interviews throughout summer. Boston Ballet School Adaptive Dance Program is a full school-year, age-based program that provides dance instruction to students of all disabilities from 2 years old to adult. Classes staff consist of a trained Boston Ballet School faculty member, an assistant, a physical or occupational therapist, and a musician.
* Students develop body awareness, spatial awareness, and musicality in a supportive and engaging studio environment. While ballet principles are incorporated, these are not traditional ballet classes – the focus is on fostering self-expression through improvisation, exploration, and the joy of movement.
New families must sign up for a virtual intake interview with a Boston Ballet School administrator.
