* Focus on specific art topics and incorporate discussion, critical inquiry, and sketching in the galleries. Students then work independently on a project with guidance from an experienced instructor.
November Theme: A Festive Feast. Immerse yourself in still-life art depicting beautiful flowers and delicious food. Explore the MFA’s collections and the special exhibition “Rachel Ruysch: Artist, Naturalist, and Pioneer” to learn about artwork that captures the beauty in plants, and meals, from across time. Return to the studio to create still-life artwork using collage and 3D effects.
