* In this presentation, parents will gain a greater understanding of Executive Function Processes and the role these play in academic performance.
* Donna Kincaid will discuss expectations at different grade levels, reasons why students struggle, and how parents can support their children at home.
Workshop Presenter: Donna Kincaid, M.Ed. is the Assistant Director of the Institutes for Learning and Development (ILD) and the Director of Outreach and Professional Development for ILD and Research ILD. She coordinates and facilitates outside professional development for private and public schools and consults with parents and teachers. She is also an experienced Educational Specialist who provides individual educational therapy to high school and college students as well as adults with learning, attention, and executive function difficulties. She is a contributing author to a Research ILD book entitled, Promoting Executive Function in the Classroom.
