This annual conference on assistive technology offers state-of-the-art workshops, information, and exhibits highlighting technologies that change and enhance the lives of people with disabilities of all ages. For individuals, family members, and professionals from New England and beyond, the conference focuses on uses of technology in education, communication, employment, recreation, home, and independent living.
Keynote Speaker: Anthony Quetta Jr. Anthony Quetta Jr. is a 2021 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and a resident of North Providence. With 15 years of dedication to athletics, AJ’s life took a dramatic turn following a C3/C4 spinal cord injury. Despite this life-altering challenge, AJ’s resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit have inspired countless individuals.
* In his keynote address, AJ shares his story of recovery, strength, and the importance of adapting to new circumstances. Throughout his recovery, Anthony has become a strong advocate for the use of assistive technology, utilizing various adaptive tools, including a specialized wheelchair, voice-controlled devices, and customized gaming technology. His perspective on overcoming personal obstacles and thriving despite life’s challenges offers an inspiring and uplifting message for all.
