The Adaptive Arts Department at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts offers classes and events designed with accessibility at its core, including the option for one-to-one support and instructors who are trained in best practices for inclusive education.
* Adaptive Group Voice: Tailored for adults with intellectual disabilities, this weekly class invites you to join others in singing and making music together. Discover how to become part of a musical group as you practice, create, and perform music collaboratively.
* In this accessible ensemble, students will sing and learn new songs from various styles, create original pieces, play pattern and rhythm games, and share their favorite songs to sing during class karaoke.
* * The HCA does not provide support services during this program. If you or your student typically requires a 1:1 assistant or support person, they require that the parent/caregiver/aide remain for the class to assist.
