Norwood, MA, December 6th, 2025, with the Dream Flyers Program. The Dream Flyer Program is designed to support children and teens ages 8 – 18 who are facing serious illness, disability, financial hardship, or other significant adversity such as abuse, the loss of a parent or sibling, or homelessness.
* The Dream Flyer Program provides children and teens with a personalized, one-on-one aviation experience, completely free of charge.
* Each Dream Flyer is paired with a dedicated volunteer pilot who donates their time, aircraft, and resources—including the cost of fuel and landing fees.
* Every Dream Flyer’s journey includes:
- A personalized flight briefing tailored to their comfort level and interests
- A hands-on tour of the aircraft to explore its features and learn about aviation
- An exhilarating flight experience—and most kids even get to take the controls!
- VIP send-off with their own flight jacket, personalized name tag, and a pair of aviator sunglasses to help them leave looking and feeling like a real pilot
For families experiencing particular hardship, Above the Clouds also provides transportation assistance to ensure every child has the opportunity to participate.
