* The topic for this presentation will be Anti-Bullying.
* Presenter Johanne Pino has worked at MAC since 1999. Her work in outreach with parents, legislators and professionals has assured that school systems across the commonwealth provide equal educational opportunities for students with disabilities. Resulting in improved special education services and support.
* This workshop will address best practices on the states anti-bullying prevention law.
* It will focus on both school wide efforts to create safe and supportive school environments as well as the laws that require IEP teams to address bullying.
* This workshop will also address concerns about bullying as students adjust to being back in school with peers during the COVID 19 recovery.
