* The topic of discussion will be Demystifying ABA and how this therapy can be useful in school and at home.
* Andrea will answer any questions families may have and hear from families that this therapy has been instrumental for.
About the Speaker: Andrea has over 13 years of experience working with children with Special Needs, in particular ASD, including 11 years of experience working in the field of ABA. She has presented on a range of topics involving Best Practices in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis to professionals in the educational, clinical, and legal disciplines, as well as parents of children with special needs. She has taught in public school settings as an Education Coordinator and then Lead Teacher for a special Autism classroom on Cape Cod. She has also worked privately as a BCBA, providing in-home treatment and consultations. Andrea holds Massachusetts state licenses in both Severe Disabilities.
