Free. Guest presenters will be Gail Havelick, SSI/public benefits Training and policy specialist, Department of Public Health and Stephanie Porter, MSN, RN, MASSTART provider, and Heather Engholm, RN, of MASSSTART.
* This workshop will provide an  overview of public benefits available to children with special needs and their families that will include eligibility criteria and the application and appeals processes for SSI, MassHealth / CommonHealth, and Kaileigh Mulligan programs.
* In addition, an overview of the MASSTART Program will be provided.
* MASSTART is a free program providing services for children with special health care needs especially those who may be assisted by medical technology in the school setting.
