Taunton, MA, October 29th, 2024, with Community Autism Resources – Registration required by October 15th. Free. This event is open to autistic individuals, and their immediate family members, living within CAR’s service region.
* This event allows individuals an opportunity to “Trick or Treat”, from office to office, either as an autism friendly alternative to Halloween or as a practice run before Halloween.
* In order to keep this event enjoyable for everyone, families must register by 10/15. When registering, you must choose a 30-minute time slot that you will share with 4 other families.
* There will be candy, including organic and gluten free candy options, and non-edible options, pumpkin decorating, a sensory walk through, a movie playing in our hangout room that will serve as a “quiet space” for those who may need a break, visual supports and AAC support.
* CAR will also have costume donations that they will be happy to give to families in need. When registering, you will have the option to indicate whether or not you will need a costume and if we have the size you are needing.
* Your spot is not confirmed until you receive an email from CAR.
