"Ask the Experts: IEP meeting Do's and Don'ts"Webinar, March 4th, 2021, with Autism Resource Central of Worcester. Part of their “Autism 102″ parent webinars series held during the COVID-19 crisis. Open to anyone interested in learning more about supporting Autism.
* This series is designed for parents of children ages 8-14. The initial shock of receiving the diagnosis has past, you’re now encountering different challenges.
* The guest speaker will be Joanne Pino of Massachusetts Advocates (MAC) for Children.
Joanne will discuss IEP and School wide Strategies to Prevent Bullying Of Students With Disabilities
*  Joanne Pino is a Project Coordinator at MAC. She engages in outreach and provides information and technical assistance to parents, legislators, and professionals who work with children with disabilities or work on legislative issues that affect children with disabilities. She works to assure that school systems across the Commonwealth provide equal educational opportunities for students with disabilities so that the students will be able to fully participate in their communities. .
* Attendees need to register about 10 minutes ahead of time to download the handouts that are available for all sessions.
