Strategies for Supporting Neurodiverse Kids at Home: Webinar with Mass General Hospital Aspire ProgramApril 9th, 2020, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Part of the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Practical Strategies for Supporting Neurodiverse Kids at Home ASPIRE Program webinar series. In the final session of this series, discuss how to teach and practice critical math and independent living skills together through every day living tasks.
* The workshop will provide practical recommendations on how to practice foundational math skills such as working with fractions, estimation and word problems.
* About this series: Adapting to new routines and new expectations in the midst of the current COVID-19 environment has become increasingly challenging for many parents. School closures, new work from home arrangements and drastically reduced physical social interactions are forcing us all to live a new version of our normal lives.
* About the webinar presenter:  Elise a Wulff, MEd, Program Manager of Child Services at MGH Aspire, will be presenting a six-part webinar series designed to help parents of children and teens with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related profile navigate the “homeschool” atmosphere.
* Elise will be presenting via Zoom online video conferencing. Participants will need an internet connection to participate.
