Sending emails to SMS gateways is prohibited under the Twilio SendGrid Email Policy and Twilio Acceptable Use Policy as telecommunications carriers do not allow commercial messages to be sent in this manner. Starting July 31, 2024, Twilio will actively enforce this policy and any emails sent to an SMS gateway from Twilio SendGrid will not be delivered after this date.
