Sensory-Friendly Fall Festival in New HampshireWebinar, March 11th, 2021, 6-8 pm with Vòng Tay Cha Mẹ Việt – The Circle Of Vietnamese Parents in Boston. Circle of Vietnamese parents is a group of Vietnamese speaking parents of children with special needs getting together to support one another, to network, to share experience caring for children with special needs, and to share resources.
 *  Topic: A Conversation with Professor Karen Steves, MS, Pathways Academy about crisis prevention and intervention.
* About the speaker:
Karen Steves, MS works to establish a safe and therapeutic environment for staff and students. Ms. Steves is a certified trainer with the Crisis Prevention Institute, and has attended nonviolent crisis intervention training programs in autism spectrum disorders and applied physical training, and courses with FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute. Ms. Steves is also a certified trainer with the ALICE Training Institute, with the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (in bullying and cyberbullying prevention and intervention), and an American Heart Association CPR and first aid trainer. Ms. Steves provides annual safety training to Pathways Academy and other child and adolescent programs at McLean.
