Temple Grandin, author of “Thinking in Pictures”, “The Autistic Brain”, and many others, is an adult with autism, professor of animal science at Colorado State University, and has a successful career consulting on both livestock handling equipment design and animal welfare.
* Temple is one of the first individuals on the autism spectrum to document the insights she gained from her personal experience of autism. She also She has been featured on NPR (National Public Radio) and a BBC Special – “The Woman Who Thinks Like a Cow”. HBO made an Emmy Award-winning movie about her life and she was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2016.
