Lunenburg Middle-High School Auditorium, September 24th, 2019. Resilience: The Biology Of Stress & The Science Of Hope is a documentary that chronicles the emergence of a movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.
* Although the original research was controversial, the film reveals important public health findings – the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a movement to treat and prevent Toxic Stress. For examples extremely stressful experiences in childhood can alter brain development and have lifelong effects on health and behavior. However,  physicians, educators, social workers and communities are talking about the effects of divorce, abuse and neglect, and using cutting edge science to help the generation break the cycles of adversity and disease.
* Hosted by The Lunenburg Public School District and The Recruitment, Training & Support Center (RTSC) project at the Federation for Children with Special Needs.
