Norwood, MA, November 14th & 15th, 2019. Keynote Speakers for this event will be Dr. Leanne Hawken, Professor, University of Utah, and Dr. Tim Lewis, Professor, University of Missouri, Co-Director, National Technical Assistance Center for PBIS.
* Dr. Leanne S. Hawken is a Professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Utah. Her research focuses on positive behavior support, school-wide behavior support, targeted interventions for students at risk, and functional assessment/behavior support planning for students engaging in severe problem behavior. She is a coauthor of Building Positive Behavior Support Systems in Schools, and Responding to Problem Behavior in Schools.
* Tim Lewis (Friday Keynote), is a Professor of Special Education at the University of Missouri, and Co-Director, National Technical Assistance Center for PBIS. He has taught students with emotional and behavioral disorders in high school, elementary, and self-contained psychiatric settings. His specialty areas include social skill instruction, functional assessment, and proactive school-wide discipline systems.
