Mental Health in Communities of Color Boston MAWaltham, MA, February 10th, 2020. Free. The goal of the event is to raise awareness and break mental health stigma in communities of color where stigma is heightened. People of color struggle with their mental health just as much, but are less likely to seek help. Join the conversation. Be part of the change.
* Join Waltham Partnership For Youth for a Resource Fair & Panel Discussion on mental health in people of color, and how the community can reduce the stigma for itself and others.
* The entire event will also be translated into Spanish.
* RESOURCE FAIR – 6:00-6:45 PM. This resource fair will highlight local mental health organizations that have programs for communities of color
* PANEL DISCUSSION – 6:45-8:00 PM. Panel discussion with clinicians and advocates/those with lived experience of color, to further break down barriers that exist around mental health in communities of color.
