Basic Rights and Developing an IEP & 504 Plan Boston Special Education Parent Advisory CouncilWebinar, April 15, 2021, with SPARK Kindness of Natick, MA. Simultaneous ASL and Spanish Language Interpretation will be provided at this event. A free event for educators of Preschool – High School students.
* A second session at 7 p.m. will focus on how parents can support themselves and empower their BIPOC children amidst racism and trauma that is also free and available to all.
 * Dr. Allison Briscoe-Smith, a psychologist, author and speaker, will present on how to create a school environment that promotes pride and affirms the identity of BIPOC students. Dr. Briscoe-Smith will also offer resources for engaging in conversation, addressing trauma and connecting with families of color.  Please note this first session is for educators.
