Care of the Teacher Webinar for Educators in MassachusettsWebinar Series, October 20th – November 17th, 2020, with a Plymouth, MA, education collaborative. “Care of The Teacher” offers the education community to come together to focus on topics that are central to what it is that makes for a healthy, passionate and balanced teacher.
* About the Instructor: Susan McNamara, M.A., CHHC, is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor and Professional-Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Susan is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Susan is an adjunct professor at Westfield State University where she explores with her students the impact technology is having on their health and well-being as part of an overall curriculum on stress reduction. Together, participant will explore:
· Self-Care
· Healthy Boundaries
· Regulating Your Nervous System
· Visioning Your Ideal Classroom
* Each class is topic-focused, with lots of time for reflection and learning practical relaxation techniques and perspectives to support you and what it is that you need most to be at your very best.
* The program will meet via Zoom, where you will need a working audio and video in order to participate, with the expectation that both are turned on when we are together.
