Medical Doctor Parent Making Decisions About Special-Needs Healthcare in MassachusettsVirtual Training, December 9th, 2020, 10:00 AM, with the New England ADA Center. Free and open to the public. The Americans with Disabilities Act applies to small and large healthcare providers, from sole practitioners to large hospitals.
Presenters: Kathy Gips, Director of Training and Stacy Hart, ADA Trainer.
* During this training discuss obligations under the ADA from service animals to sign language interpreters to COVID-19 mask requirements to ensure that people with disabilities can get to access the care they need to live heathy lives.
* In addition, discuss Department of Justice settlement agreements and use scenarios to illustrate requirements.
