Camp Maple Leaf – Vermont

Camp Maple Leaf is a fun day camp experience that focuses on the development of social skills and leisure/relaxation skills for children and adolescents diagnosed with:

Nonverbal Learning Disabilities
High Functioning Austism
Asperger’s Syndrome
PDD-NOS

July 20-24 (14-17 yrs.)
July 27-31 (18-24 yrs.)
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
$875 per week (5 days)

DragonFly Forest Summer Camp – Phoenixville, PA

Dragonfly Forest consists of two programs.

  • An after-school program which runs year round, called The Spectrum, provides children with Autism an inspiring place to practice their social skills.
  • The Dragonfly Forest Summer Camp program, provides children with Autsim and Medical Needs the opportunity to enjoy an overnight camp experience in an environment that is safe, equipped to meet a variety of physical, medical and psychological needs, nurturing, and filled with activities that allow each child to reach their “full fun.”

Camp Spectacular – Glenville, NY

Camp Spectacular is a day camp program for children with autism spectrum disorders including those with high functioning autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and PDD-NOS.

  • The total operating cost for Camp Spectacular is exceeds $700 per camper per session.  The Albany Chapter of The Autism Society of America generously underwrites 50% of each camper’s tuition.
  • All sessions are co-ed
  • Campers may enroll in multiple sessions
  • Campers must be between the ages of 9 and 16 years
  • Campers must have average or above average language skills
  • Campers must have demonstrated self-management skills in school and community settings
