  • June 26Self-Regulation and Hope for the Adults in the Room & New Ideas When Using The Zones of Regulation®. Dr. Damon Korb will discuss a five-point plan for raising an organized child. Michelle Garcia Winner will discuss practical strategies for making and keeping friends, and how this includes executive functions and self-regulation.
  • June 27 – Raising an Organized Child: Strategies to Promote Executive Functions Dr. Damon Korb and Michelle Garcia Winner will connect the dots between executive functions—including self-regulation and perspective taking—and creative, practical strategies to foster organized thinking.
    * Damon’s keynote will explain five important steps parents can take to raise an organized child, and he’ll present strategies to foster children’s active engagement of organized thinking, the kind of learning and functions they’ll use throughout their lives.
    * Michelle’s keynote will focus on friendships. How do we make them? How do we keep them? What creative strategies can we teach to help tweens and teens learn to invest in these important but complicated relationships? A Q&A session with both speakers will follow this presentation.
  • June 28 – Creative Strategies for Teaching Social Thinking at Home and Through Tele-Education. Keynotes by Michelle Garcia Winner, Dr. Pamela Crooke, and guest speakers from the Social Thinking Training & Speakers’ Collaborative will explore many fun, engaging ideas to help think socially and problem solve.
