Natick, February 2nd, 2018. A Morning with DESE: Featuring An Overview of General and Special Education Funding will feature staff from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). They will provide an overview of how federal and state funds are distributed to school districts in Massachusetts, both for general and special education programming, and the differences among local districts, vocational schools, charter schools, and collaboratives.
Speakers include:
* Teri Williams Valentine, Director of the Special Education Planning and Policy, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
* Rob O’Donnell, Director of School Business Services, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
